Hard Knocks Wrestling Federation womens champion, Kim "The Dark Diva" Soulstar is welcomed to RAGE in her long awaited debut.
The night was wild at RAGE Battlegrounds on Sunday! Wrestling fans from across the Second Life virtual world were treated to 3 incredible fights including a mixed martial arts contest that was booked 15 minutes before show time, to fill in for a canceled wrestling match! The two remaining matches more than made up for the canceled one, and helped to decide top contenders for the vacant mens and womens RAGE Championship Wrestling titles.

"The Wyldman" enters the arena to Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls", and the crowd goes crazy.
The main event of the evening welcomed HKWF sensation “The Hardcore Freak” JennF Parkin and HKWF womens champion “The Dark Diva” Kim Soulstar to the RAGE ring to battle “The Wyldman” Brakman Wylder in a 3 way fight, no rules match! The long time HKWF rivals teamed up and made short work of Wylder in the opening stanza, injuring him and throwing him out of the ring where he sat nursing his wounds for the rest of the match. Once Soulstar and Parkin were without a common foe, it was time to settle old scores in a new arena! The exchanges were brutal and furious…ending with Soulstar attempting to suplex Parkin through a set of tables outside the ring, only to be reversed by The Hardcore Freak, and getting “gordbustered” face first through the tables and into the cold hard cement floor of the CONSTRICTOR combat arena, earning Parkin the chance to fight for the womens title! Still covered in her opponents blood, the adrenaline fueled Parkin jumped out of the ring and got into the face of her next opponent, number one contender “La Belle” Brenda Rua who was in the audience watching the action. The two top contenders exchanged heated words before being pulled apart by security, leaving the audience screaming for more! Rua and Parkin are schedule to fight for the RCW womens championship title in 2 weeks at Battlegrounds.

The Hardcore Freak dominates in her RAGE debut, and earns a shot at the womens title.
The second match was scheduled to be the return of “The Cereal Killer” Tonydatiger Composer facing XWA rising star, Nick Firestorm. Both men were held up at customs, and missed the match. Fortunately RAGE mixed martial arts phenom, Isaiah Slade was backstage and ready to go on! He defeated his opponent, kotana Xaris in a brutal display of superior skill, showing off why he is not only a former European champion, but a definite contender to any MMA title he wants to fight for in the future!

RAGE MMA veteran, Isaiah Slade seeks to destroy his opponents quickly and mercifully. He's good at his job.
In the final match of the evening, “The Soul-Ja Boy” Derrick Cult faced relative new comer to professional wrestling, Mythil Woyseck in a match that would determine the number one contender for the RCW mens title. Cult appeared confident that he would easily handle Woyseck and get back to his hotel room in time to entertain his awaiting groupies, not concerned at all with the cold red eyes and fanged grin of Woyseck glaring back at him from the opposite corner of the ring.

When the bell rang, the 2 mens circled each other and locked up! Cult was immediately the aggressor, dominating Woyseck with a superior wrestling pedigree and athleticism…at one point forcing a rope break when a submission hold was locked dangerously deep! Alarmingly, as “The Soul-Ja Boy” worked him over, slamming his body over and over into the canvas, Woyseck’s menacing grin and piercing gaze never winced or shifted except to laugh occasionally at the sound of his own body breaking against the matt. Exhausted and noticeably frustrated, Cult took a moment to yell back at the booing audience, taking his attention away from the crumpled body of Woyseck laying on the ground. With the referee distracted by the crowd, Woyseck reached out of the ring to grab his bottle of Absinthe, and took a big swig from it. When Cult turned back around to finish him off, Woyseck spat the contents of his mouth into Cult’s eyes, blinding him! This allowed Woyseck to trip “The Soul-Ja Boy to the mat, and sink in his patented “Muzzle lock” on the fatigued Cult, forcing him to tap out. The crowd booed loudly as Mythil Woyseck was declared the winner, and the number one contender to the RCW mens title. His opponent will be announced this week. Stay tuned!
